Seek, analyse and evaluate

We address the global macroeconomic issues to highlight potential opportunities then evaluate and analyse prospective asset classes, countries, sectors and themes.

Identify real value assets

We use quantitative analysis, external research and internal review to identify opportunities that represent real value.

Tailor to fit individual profiles

Following a consultation with your investment manager, we will create an appropriate portfolio designed to meet your specific requirements and aims; taking your attitude to risk and our knowledge of your current financial position into account.

Monitor and control risk

The underlying investments and the weighting of those assets - tactical allocation - within your portfolio are vigilantly monitored. The asset mix will be reviewed regularly and verified to ensure that they meet your individual objectives. We will react accordingly should these aims alter.

Andrew Morgan is a portfolio manager for Walker Crips Investment Management. Originally from Carmarthenshire, Andrew spent the majority of his career until now working in the City of London as a fund manager at Mitsubishi-UFJ Asset Management where he specialised in UK and European equities. Latterly, he worked in global equities at BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager. Upon returning to Wales, Andrew managed private client portfolios for Brewin Dolphin. Outside of finance, Andrew is a trustee of PRIME Cymru, the only Welsh-based charity of HRH the Prince of Wales.

Andrew’s professional qualifications include the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and the Investment Management Certificate. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Modern History from University College London.

Gary Waite is a portfolio manager for Walker Crips Investment Management. He began his career as a government economist in the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, before becoming a junior hedge fund manager in London. His career has taken him to be an equities analyst in Australia, and director within a European equities team at BlackRock, having previously worked on both the Global and Emerging Markets teams. Previously Gary has been a volunteer counsellor for ChildLine, and currently works in a voluntary capacity for the homeless charity Crisis.

Gary holds the Investment Management Certificate, the SII Level 3 Certificate in Investment as well as (Australian) PS146 accreditation. He gained a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
